manipolazione mediatica – tendente a far accettare alla società italiana le azioni
commesse da Israele, nascondendone la natura illegale e spesso indiscutibilmente criminale – e la confusione tra quel che può a buon diritto definirsi democratico e quel che della democrazia nega la stessa essenza. L’autrice afferma che il percorso, partendo da un “lessico deviante” pro-Israele, metaforicamente accomunato a un virus che attacca il tessuto democratico, ha condotto all’affievolimento della percezione stessa della cultura democratica fino a rendere prima accettabile, poi addirittura auspicabile da parte di una comunità anestetizzata nella sua capacità critica, la demolizione dei principi costituzionali, chiamando questo disfacimento dei valori fondanti della Carta costituzionale italiana “democrazia”. Il testo si conclude con l’invito rivolto a coloro - e soltanto a coloro - che della democrazia condividono l’impianto e i valori reali, a riflettere sul fatto che il Diritto universale è valido per tutti o non è. Conseguentemente, la benevolenza e addirittura l’ammirazione verso uno Stato che si muove sistematicamente dell’illegalità internazionale, rappresenta uno strumento funzionale alla demolizione della cultura democratica anche in Italia.
