Dabei werden das Bruttonationaleinkommen (BNE), die Konsumentwicklung, die Einkommensentwicklung, die Investitionsentwicklung und weitere relevante Wirtschaftsdaten in Verbindung gebracht und seit dem Beginn des neuen 3. Jahrtausends analysiert. Welche Aufgaben hat die EZB dabei? Die EZB und deren Leitmechanismen werden dargestellt und der Leitzins mit der Inflationrate gegenüber gestellt, und so eine Antwort im Fazit zu konstruieren.
